The Center for the Support of Beginning Teachers held a two-day Induction Symposium August 15-16, 2006 for approximately 100 beginning teachers in ten school systems. Keynote speakers were Union County Schools PE Teacher Kim Cooke and Marianne Leek, Hayesville High School English Teacher and 2006 Western Region Teacher of the Year.
