How To: Submit a Common Assignment

A Common Assignment is an assignment in a course that is "common" to all students taking that course. Follow these instructions to submit a common assignment in your course:


PSY 320/322

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ 2. Pre-Internship Teacher Education” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "PSY 320/322" in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for the "Common Assignment " item for your course and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "PSY 320/322" header and the "Common Assignment " item for your course under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!

 

 

PSY 321

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ 2. Pre-Internship Teacher Education” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "PSY 321 " in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for "Common Assignment " and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "PSY 321 " header and the "Common Assignment " item under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!

 

 

SPED 335/ 336/ 337 - Common Assignment

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ 2. Pre-Internship Teacher Education” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "SPED 335/ SPED 336/ SPED 337 " in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for "Common Assignment " and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "SPED 335/ SPED 336/ SPED 337 " header and the "Common Assignment " item under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!

SPED 335/ 336/ 337 - Final Reflection

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ 2. Pre-Internship Teacher Education” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "SPED 335/ SPED 336/ SPED 337 " in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for "Final Reflection " and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "SPED 335/ SPED 336/ SPED 337 " header and the "Final Reflection" item under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!

 

 

EDSE 322

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ 2. Pre-Internship Teacher Education” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "EDSE 322 " in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for "Common Assignment " and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "EDSE 322 " header and the "Common Assignment " item under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!

 

 

 

PSY 621

  • Log in to TaskStream
  • Look for the “ Graduate Professional Core ” portfolio under "My Programs/DRFs".
  • Click on the “Work on DRF ” link in this row.
  • If it is not selected, click on tab 3: "Edit Content"
  • Look for "PSY 621 " in the branching structure near the left of your screen. Under that heading, look for "PSY 621 Submission " and click on it
  • Click the grey "Add/Edit Work" button near the right of your screen
  • A new window will open
  • Click on the "Attachments" tab
  • Click the grey "Browse" button and look for your file. Once you've selected your file, click "Open"
  • Click the yellow "Add File" button. If this is successful, a purple bar should appear on this window stating "Your file was successfully added and appears on the list below"
  • Close this window
  • Back in the previous window, click on tab 5: "Submission & Evaluation"
  • Look for the "PSY 621 " header and the "PSY 621 Submision " item under that
  • Click the grey "Submit" button in the same row.
  • In the window that pops up, select your course instructor from the list of evaluators and click "Submit"
  • In the next window, either type in a last-minute message and click "Send Comment" or click "Close Window"
  • Done!
