You should have received the instructions for what to put in your autobiography. If not, the instructions are also in TaskStream.
Sign in to TaskStream's website and you will see a page like this

Look for "1. Teacher Education Candidacy - Spring 2008". If you do not see this title on the screen, contact Dr. Lee Nickles (see below). Click on the "Work on DRF" link on the right side of this row. You will see this screen. [NOTE: the portfolio name may be for a previous semester (e.g., 2007 Teacher Education Candidacy), but the instructions are the same]

Ignore tabs 1 and 2. Click on Tab 3: Edit Content.

Look for the heading "Autobiography" in the branching list on the left side. Under that is the item "Submission." Click on submission to see the screen below.

Here you can read the directions for the assignment. If you scroll down you will see links for a template file for the autobiography, an example, and the rubric on which these will be scored.

If you have your autobiography ready, click the "Add/Edit Work" button on the right side of the screen. A new window will pop up - you may need to allow pop up windows in your browser.

Click on the "Attachments" tab.

You do not need to fill in items 1 and 3 - just click the grey "Browse" button. This opens a window where you can search for your file on your computer or flash drive. Select your file and click "Open." Then, click the yellow "Add File" button. If it was successful, the window should look like this (with your file name listed at the bottom):

You can then close this window and return to the original one.

To submit your work, click on Tab 5: Submission and Evaluation.

You should see the grey "Submit" button in the row for the Autobiography submission. Click this button. You will be prompted to submit your work to someone. Submit your autobiography to your major's Program Coordinator. There is an Excel Spreadsheet with the list of program coordinators in the directions for the Autobiography. Select that person's name and click the Submit button. You will next be prompted to enter a message if you wish to the evaluator (e.g., this is late because...). This is optional. click "Submit for Evaluation" when ready.
Now, the screen will show your work as submitted. You can return here to see what score it is given after the evaluator has examined it.
