CGIs and HTML Forms

This document lead to advanced work on CGIs and Forms, with the CGI as the critical feature allowing information to flow in two directions across a server's web pages. Resources for CGIs in general are noted. Special attention is given to CGI's that link forms to FileMaker Pro databases. FileMaker Pro is a powerful relational database, and one of the easiest to learn and one of the most common. FileMaker Pro works on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Forms

CGIs

The concept of a Common Gateway Interface (CGI) is central to effective use of forms. The CGI translates data coming from a form into something that the database can understand, and then takes database information and sends it back to a Web browser in a form that it can understand. FileMaker Pro CGI's are demonstrated. Also, some of the listed sites cover CGI's as just a part of their overall collection of Web resources, but they do have significant sections on CGIs.

I'm am looking for a site or an article that has done the comparative research on the many FileMaker Pro CGIs now available. Please send me email if you know of such.
