The Western Carolina University Teacher Support Program (TSP) is a special project designed to assist special education teachers and other professionals who serve students with disabilities by providing them with an array of support.
Because they often deal with the most challenging demands within the teaching profession, special educators are continually at great risk for stress, burnout, and early departure from the field. The Teacher Support Program is intended to help professionals working with special needs children to solve difficult problems, reduce stress, become more effective, and maintain career longevity.
I continue to think the program has a wonderful goal and comes the closest to real support of anything I've encountered so far.
