In the spring of 1998, a small program was initiated in Asheville, NC to help teachers use a collaborative approach to identify their problems and search for solutions. Through this first program we were able to positively assist many teachers.
Because of these initial efforts, WCU was awarded a three year grant by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs that has allowed us to expand the program and evaluate its impact.
