The Teacher Support Program offers the following support services:

Weekly Collaborative Problem Solving/Mutual Teacher Support (CPS/MTS) Sessions.
1 weekly session each semester during which teacher will work with the project coordinator and each other using a structured problem solving approach to address specific needs.

On-Going Electronic Networking And Communication Through Discussion Forums and Virtual Chats.
Teachers can communicate with each other about specific problems or other matters as often as desired through a commercial website.

Information And Materials Searches Conducted By Project Staff*
The WCU TSP will search for and find specific information or material that will assist the participant in various ways. This may include journal articles, books, instructional materials, etc.

Peer Mentoring
Participants who desire will be paired with knowledgeable mentors who will assist them in addressing their specific needs on a one to one basis.

Participant Designed Staff Development Sessions
Participant designed 3 hour staff development sessions will be held during each semester. Experts will be identified and employed to offer the sessions.

On-Site, In-Class Consultation And Support By Project Staff*
If requested, the WCU TSP coordinator or project director will visit the participant's classroom to provide assistance with a problem the participant is having.

* Use of these supports requires regular participation in CPS sessions, documentation of earlier interventions, and approval by the project coordinator.
