Progress of the WorkGroup

Send all feedback to Carla Parrish at cparrish@wcu.edu. All comments will be reviewed by the workgroup.

Step 1: Rank order each recommendation based on its alignment with WCU’s mission, vision, and core values. Address in order of alignment, most to least.

Step 2: For each recommendation, pose the following questions:

  1. What are we doing now that applies to the recommendation?
  2. Where do we want to be relative to the recommendation?

Step 3: Identify ‘gap’ between where we are and where we want to be.

NOTE: Work Group chair(s) should develop responses from steps 2 and 3 into a narrative introduction (one page or less) to the group’s response to the recommendation.

Step 4: Where appropriate, propose 2-3 specific initiatives (improve an existing program, propose a new program, change an administrative policy or procedure, or establish/strengthen interdisciplinary or inter-institutional collaborations) that will ‘close’ the gap.

Step 5: For each initiative proposed provide the appropriate information using the templates provided.
